David McBride is a serial entrepreneur and technology leader with more than 20 years of experience building companies and developing technology across telecommunications, SaaS, networking, and industrial automation.

Before founding SimpliScada, David built and led multiple technology companies, including Skywire Communications, Skywire Fiber, and Mango Voice. His background spans software development, distributed systems, data communications, networking, cybersecurity, and cloud-based SaaS platforms. He has also served as an adjunct professor teaching IT communications.

David’s experience in both telecommunications and industrial automation led him to recognize many of the challenges with traditional SCADA systems—complex infrastructure, expensive servers and licensing, difficult remote connectivity, and systems that require significant engineering and ongoing maintenance.

He founded SimpliScada with the goal of rethinking SCADA from the ground up: combining modern cloud architecture, secure communications, simple deployment, and intuitive software into a platform that makes industrial monitoring and control easier to deploy, manage, and scale.

David is passionate about entrepreneurship, solving complex problems with simple technology, and building products that create measurable value for customers. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, boating, wakesurfing, mountain biking, camping, and the outdoors.

Suzan Marie Chin-Taylor, MSc is an international marketing strategist, industry advocate, and founder of Creative Raven, with more than 25 years of experience serving the wastewater, trenchless, and civil infrastructure industries. She works closely with technology providers, manufacturers, contractors, and industry leaders to translate complex technical expertise into clear, relevant communications for the markets they serve.

Suzan also hosts the DooDoo Diva’s Smells Like Money Podcast, where she interviews the people and innovators shaping the future of wastewater infrastructure. A longtime industry writer, speaker, and communications strategist, she brings a deep understanding of the challenges facing utilities and the technologies helping them modernize. Suzan serves as SimpliScada’s media contact, supporting press inquiries, interviews, contributed content, and other media opportunities.

Brad Matheson is a seasoned business development and strategic partnerships executive with more than 25 years of experience building brands, developing markets, and driving organizational growth across multiple industries. Throughout his career, he has consistently combined relationship-driven leadership with entrepreneurial vision to help emerging organizations scale from startup operations into highly successful and sustainable businesses. His background spans business development, marketing strategy, sales leadership, CRM and operational systems, brand development, and executive leadership, with a proven ability to create long-term partnerships and growth strategies that produce measurable results.

Today, Brad serves as Director of Strategic Partnerships at SimpliScada, where he brings his decades of business development experience into the industrial automation and SCADA industry. In his role, he works closely with municipalities, system integrators, utilities, and technology partners to help modernize remote monitoring and control systems through innovative SCADA solutions. Brad focuses on building strategic partner relationships, expanding market presence, improving customer engagement, and helping organizations adopt scalable technologies that improve operational visibility, efficiency, and reliability. His unique background in relationship-driven business development, combined with a strong understanding of organizational systems and communication strategy, has positioned him as a valuable bridge between technical solutions and real-world operational needs.
